Do You Remember
-
In February or March a gathering of citizens, visitors and old
timers get together to share memories of Ogunquit.
Stories abound about fishermen, events, and wonderful
characters who lived in Ogunquit. Participants bring photos and
scrapbooks to share. If you have a
favorite story to share, please join us.
Historic Art Walk
- This event is co-sponsored by the Ogunquit Museum of
American Art and is held in the summer. Starting at the art museum, we
walk to the cove telling the history of the world famous art colony.
The tour points out studios, art schools and fishermen's shacks. The
walk ends at the Woodbury studio and art school for punch and cookies.
Ghostly Walk -
During Ogunquitfest in October, the Heritage Museum conducts a ghost
walk. Led by costumed hosts, the walk winds its way through town
telling about the ghosts in Ogunquit and surrounding areas. The tour is
about a mile long and takes about an hour.
